Scanning profiles

1. Version 2004.04.02 allows to register with PW1710/00 diffractometer until a maximum of twelve consecutive profiles. For this, select the "Selected Profiles" option. Subsequently it is necessary to indicate the start 2-theta angles and the exploration ranges. The profiles are saved in individual archives (Sample_001.plv, Sample _002.plv, etc) and another single whole (Sample.plv). This option is mainly used in static way with large registration times (for example, 2 or 4 seconds by theta point) for profile line analysis (mosaic size, strain, etc). This configurations can be saved with specific names (Muscovit_00L.cnf, by example) with the order File > Load/Save Setup File. 2. The data format of the powder diffractogram files calculated by the "Mercury" program is recognized by the current XPowder version. An example file has been included (pyrex.xye).
